The first one. The original. Made from memory and love.

The Perú Textile Chullo Tee was my very first design — handwritten letters filled with the vibrant colors of real Andean textiles I had at home. I looked at the fabrics, felt the colors, and painted them right into the letters.

On top of the P sits a chullo — the iconic Andean knit hat. Not just any chullo. The ones my mom sent me from Peru 14 years ago, when my first child was born. A gift from across the world, now living forever in a design.

And the accent on the ú? That's a little wire-legged llama souvenir — the kind sold in the markets of Cusco, the kind my mom makes by hand in crochet — posed like it's doing yoga. 🦙
